White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

1 1/2 cups butter, softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
12 ounces white chocolate
6 ounces macadamia nuts


Directions.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Blend butter and eggs until creamy.
  3. Add sugar and beat well.
  4. Dump flour over egg and sugar mixture and sprinkle baking soda evenly over flour.
  5. With a fork, blend baking soda into flour.  Continue mixing until flour is combined with butter, eggs and sugar to form a soft dough.
  6. Chop chocolate and nuts coarsely.  Add to cookie dough and mix.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.  Cookies should still be soft when removed from the oven.
  9. Cool and enjoy.
