Think about an item that you lost a long time ago, but it still saddens you to no longer have it in your life. This time think only of real and tangible items and not concepts like loss of dignity or self-esteem, etc.
I'll share the story of a child I knew who loved penguins. In the 1980's the department stores sold little action figures called Battle Beasts. They were animals dressed like warriors. There were kangaroos, polar bears, skunks and... penguins (of course). I'm sure you can guess which Battle Beast was lost on a fateful camping trip. Yep, it was the treasured penguin and not the who-could-care-less skunk!
What lost items do you still think about?
