Categorizing – Your Table

Use the objects that appear on your table, or surrounding area, to practice the skill of categorizing. Be inventive with your categories.

Start simple with food and non-food items and then move into some higher-level thoughts (found in nature, man-made, found locally, shipped to this location, etc.)

Be sure to allow the younger members to suggest some of the categories. Creating the categories is actually more important than sorting the items.
