Serves 4

Change the Serving Size

2 cups water
2 cups instant brown rice
1 pound cooked chicken
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
4 ounces celery
4 ounces carrot
4 ounces broccoli
2 cups water
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 dash red pepper flakes
4 ounces bean sprouts

Directions
  1. Heat water to boiling in a saucepan. Add rice, cover and simmer according to package directions.
  2. Place chicken, chicken broth and teriyaki sauce in a skillet and heat over medium.
  3. Chop celery, carrot and broccoli and add to chicken. Continue cooking over medium.
  4. Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to skillet. Stir in red pepper flakes.
  5. Cook and stir over medium heat until sauce is thickened and clear. Pour over rice and top with bean sprouts.
