Map projects are a fun, open-ended approach to Geography.  Start with an outline map of the selected region, choose a topic and then allow your creativity to flow.  The longest rivers in the world is our current topic.

• Draw and label
• Use colors and make a key
• Find pictures to attach to your map
• Extend the information
• Include the major port cities along each river
• Designate important bridges of each river
