Cardinal Directions – Coloring Activity

Make a listening activity that teaches cardinal directions using a complass rose printout and some colors (crayons, paints, etc.)

Print out the compass rose here:

Printable Compass-Rose Rose

Choose a leader who will call out the cardinal directions plus instructions on which color to make each section of the compass rose.

Color the Northeast ray pink.
Color the South ray orange and purple stripes.
Continue until all the rays have been colored and then compare for accurancy.
Choose a new leader and play again.
