The great fun of dragons and unicorns comes in part from the fact that they are based on real animals with the addition of unusual or impossible characteristics.
The dragon has the body and tail of a lizard combined with the head and face of a dog. Add to that wings and flaming breath and you have a wondrous beast!
The unicorn looks like a horse with the exception of the single horn in the forehead and the immense wings necessary to lift this large beast into the air. Are all unicorns white, or am I mistaken about that?
Now it is your turn. Make up a new animal that resembles an animal already in existence, but with special features.
