Gather together some toys and games from your home. Research the date of origin for those items. Now arrange the toys in games into a physical timeline, placing the ones that were invented first at the left of your row and the newest on the right. You can make paper labels to indicate the dates these toys were invented. You can also record your timeline on paper.
Use a search engine to learn when the playthings were first invented. You can also find some sites that will aid you in your research at the bottom of this lesson plan article.
