Serves 4

Change the Serving Size

1 tablespoon & 1 teaspoon olive oil
4 boneless pork loin chops
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon & 1 teaspoon flour
2 cups chicken broth
2 teaspoons mustard
1 dash pepper
4 ounces onion
2 cloves garlic
2 cups instant rice
side salad

Grocery Shopping List for Pork and Rice in Mustard Sauce

From kitchen to table in

  1. Pour olive oil into a skillet. Place pork chop in skillet and brush Worcestershire sauce over the top. Turn heat on to medium and brown one side. Turn and brown second side.
  2. Remove chop from pan, turn off heat and stir 1 tablespoon & 1 teaspoon flour into pan drippings. Add 2 cups chicken broth, 2 teaspoons mustard and 1 dash pepper, stir to mix.
  3. Dice 4 ounces onion and garlic and add to skillet. Stir in instant rice. Return pork chop to skillet and cover.
  4. Turn heat to medium-low and simmer until the rice has absorbed all the moisture.
  5. Serve with salad.
