Serves 4

Change the Serving Size

4 ounces pasta
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
8 leaves fresh basil
1 dash pepper
8 ounces zucchini
4 green onions
4 ounces baby spinach
8 cherry tomatoes
16 slices lean cooked beef
2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese

Grocery Shopping List for Beef and Pasta Spinach Salad

Directions
  1. In a large saucepan, cook the pasta according to package directions; drain. Rinse with cold running water; drain again and place in a bowl.
  2. Meanwhile, for dressing, pour salad dressing in a bowl, chop basil and whisk into dressing along with pepper; set aside.
  3. Julienne zucchini, slice green onion, stir into pasta. Drizzle dressing over pasta mixture, toss to coat. Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hours.
  4. To serve arrange spinach leave and tomatoes on a plate. Top with pasta mixture, meat and crumbled blue cheese.
