Baked Beans Zing

Add some zing to canned beans by combining scrumptious baked beans with high-fiber black beans and canned jalapeno peppers, onions and bell peppers.

1 pound & 4 ounces canned black beans
12 ounces canned baked beans
4 ounces canned diced jalapeno peppers
4 ounces onion
4 ounces red bell pepper
4 ounces yellow bell pepper
4 ounces green bell pepper

Grocery Shopping List for Baked Beans Zing

From kitchen to table in

  1. Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  3. Drain and rinse black beans and place in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add canned baked beans to mixing bowl and stir to blend.
  5. Stir in canned, diced jalapenos
  6. Dice onion and peppers and blend into beans
  7. Pour into baking dish and bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned.
