Increase memory skills with a regular deck of cards. Shuffle the cards and lay them out on a table top 13 across until all the cards have been dealt. Take turns turning up one card and then one more searching for a pair.
The player who finds a pair, collects the two cards and tries again. No pair, turn passes to the next player. Continue until all of the cards have been matched. Winner is the player who has collected the most cards at the end of the game.
For older players, you can increase the challenge by requiring that all four cards of a set have been turned up in order to be collected.
