Scavenger Hunt – Opposite Relationships

Set a time limit (5 or 10 minutes) and gather as many pairs of items that can be described with an opposite relationship.

  • A fork is sharp, a spoon isn't.

At the end of your time limit, share and compare the opposites that you gathered.  Afterwards, mix all of your objects together and challenge yourselves to name more opposite relationships that weren't identified the first time around.

Peanut butter is creamy and celery is crunchy.
