Draw To Learn – Food Chains

Life on earth is dependent on the energy from the sun. Plants convert the sun’s energy into vegetable matter through the process of photosynthesis. Animals digest the plants and the energy is again converted. These animals are eaten by other animals and the energy transfers once again. When plants or animals die, their tissues are consumed by one more part of the web, decomposers. This is the balance of nature.
