Everyone choose a short picture book to read out loud. When it is your turn to read remember these tips:
Read with expression. Change your voice and inflection to create drama.
Share the pictures. Some people can read upside down and show the pictures at the same time. Others should open the book to the others before turning the page.
Stop at intriguing places in the book and invite others to guess what will happen next.
Open a discussion at the completion of the book. Was there a moral to the story? Were the characters believable?
