Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich

Grilled ham and cheese sandwiches with onion and tomato slices. Served with fresh fruit, a quick and easy recipe everyone loves.

Serves 4

Change the Serving Size

12 ounces ham
8 ounces cheese
4 slices onion
4 slices tomato
8 slices bread
4 tablespoons margarine
6 ounces fresh fruit

Grocery Shopping List for Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich

From kitchen to table in

Directions
  1. Brown ham in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Slice cheese, onion and tomato.
  3. Spread margarine on both sides of one slice of bread. Place in an unheated skillet.
  4. Layer half of the cheese, the onion, tomato, ham and the remainder of cheese onto bread.
  5. Spread margarine on both sides of the other slice of bread. Place on top of sandwich.
  6. Turn heat on to medium and cook until bread is golden brown. Flip and brown on other side.
  7. Serve with fruit.
