Makes 12 biscuits

2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 tablespoons margarine
2/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk

Directions
  1. Place dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix with a fork until completely blended.
  2. Turn oven on to 450 degrees.
  3. Add margarine (cold) and cut into dry ingredients until the consistency of pebbles.
  4. Add milk and stir to form a soft dough.
  5. Tranfer dough to a floured surface. Turn once to coat both sides with flour. Using your hands, pat the dough flat to a thickness of about 1 inch.
  6. Cut with a biscuit cutter and place on ungreased baking sheet. Leftover dough can be reshaped and cut again until all the dough has been shaped into biscuits.
  7. Place in oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
