Which is the greater catastrophe, failure or inactivity? Don't be too quick to say that doing nothing is better than making a mistake. Failure means you are smarter the next time. Inaction means there is no next time.
I didn't make any mistakes today, but I didn't have any successes either!

Using confrontation in conflict
My father was disabled at a young age with multiple sclerosis. We were very poor during the early years of my life. Owning a television was a luxury we couldn't afford.
I have a very embarrassing memory from when I was about 4 years old. I was standing on the neighbors porch watching Woody the Woodpecker through their screen door. The gracious mother invited me inside to watch. The lure of the sounds and pictures allowed me to overcome my intense shyness. I entered the house but only far enough to stand behind the couch for the remainder of the program.
Television and computers are very compelling. But most of us would admit that we use them for entertainment only and the time spent is mostly leisure without personal growth.
What would you do with the hours you currently give to television or computer games?
